- 1 Booking and scope
A booking is confirmed when the client accepts our quotation in writing and pays any booking fee or deposit shown. The quotation will describe the agreed services, dates, deliverables and fee.
Any change to the brief, dates, locations or deliverables must be agreed in writing and may change the fee and timetable.
- 2 Fees and payment
All fees are in pounds sterling. The booking fee or deposit stated in the quotation secures the agreed date.
The remaining balance is due by the date shown on the invoice. We may pause work or withhold final files while an invoice is overdue.
Expenses such as travel, accommodation, parking, location fees, music licences and specialist equipment will only be charged where agreed or reasonably required to deliver the brief.
VAT will be added where applicable.
- 3 Cancellation and rescheduling
The client must cancel or request a new date in writing.
The client remains responsible for work completed, bookings and expenses that cannot be recovered, and any cancellation charge stated in the quotation.
We will make reasonable efforts to rebook a cancelled date and reduce the amount due where possible. A new date is subject to our availability and may involve additional costs.
- 4 Client responsibilities
The client must provide a clear brief, accurate information, timely decisions, access to locations, a suitable contact on the day and all people, products and materials needed for the work.
The client must provide a safe working environment and tell us about any relevant risks or restrictions.
Delays caused by missing information, unavailable people, restricted access or late feedback may affect the timetable and create additional costs.
- 5 Filming permissions and releases
The client is responsible for obtaining permission to film or photograph at each location and for securing consent from participants, performers, employees, models and guardians of anyone under 18.
The client must also obtain permission for music, artwork, logos, trademarks, private property and other material supplied for the project.
The client confirms that we may use the supplied material for the agreed work and will cover claims arising from a failure to obtain these permissions.

We can arrange permissions where this is specifically included in the quotation.
- 6 Revisions and approval
The quotation will state how many rounds of revisions are included.
Feedback must be provided in one clear, consolidated response by the agreed deadline.
Further revisions, a change of direction or new material will be charged at our current rate.
If the client does not provide feedback within 14 days of delivery, we may treat the work as approved and request payment of any outstanding balance.
- 7 Delivery and storage
We will deliver the agreed finished files in the format and by the method set out in the quotation.
Delivery dates are estimates where they depend on feedback, third party services or circumstances outside our control.
Raw footage, unused photographs, project files and working files are not included unless the quotation says so.
We may keep project files for up to 12 months after final delivery and may then delete them. The client should download and back up all delivered files promptly.

- 8 Copyright and licence
Unless a written agreement says otherwise, Camber & Core owns the copyright in the footage, photographs, edits, sound recordings, designs and other original material we create.
Once all invoices are paid, the client receives a licence to use the agreed final deliverables for the purpose, channels and territory stated in the quotation.
Any wider use, alteration, resale, sublicensing or transfer requires our written permission.
Copyright in music, stock material and other third party content remains with its original owner and is subject to its own licence terms.
We may show finished work in our portfolio and promotional material unless the client requests confidentiality in writing before the project begins.

- 10 Liability
We will provide the services with reasonable skill and care.
Subject to any liability that the law does not allow us to limit, our total liability for a project
is limited to the fees paid or payable for that project.
We are not responsible for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity
or loss of data.
We are also not responsible for delays or failures caused by inaccurate information,
missing permissions, client instructions, venues, platforms or third party suppliers.
- 11 Circumstances outside our control
We are not in breach where performance is prevented or delayed by events outside our
reasonable control, including severe weather, illness, power or internet failure, government
action, strikes, transport disruption or a failure of a venue or platform.
We will tell the client as soon as reasonably possible and will work to reschedule the
services or agree an alternative.
If the affected work cannot reasonably be completed, either party may end that part of the
project and we will refund fees for work not carried out after deducting work completed
and costs incurred.
- 12 General terms
Neither party may transfer this agreement without the other party’s written consent,
except that we may use suitably qualified freelancers or suppliers to deliver the work.
If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest will continue to apply.
A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.
These terms and the accepted quotation form the agreement between us.
- 13 Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights the
client has as a consumer under applicable law.
