- 01Planning and preparation
This is the work before the cameras start rolling. We establish what the film needs to achieve and plan how to capture it.
Depending on the brief, preparation can include creative development, interview questions, a shot list, scheduling and crew coordination. Where needed, we visit the location to check lighting, sound, access and suitability.
We quote for the preparation your project needs. A straightforward shoot may need less planning than a production involving several locations, contributors or detailed creative work. Tasks and location visits are covered by the agreed preparation scope.
- 02The shoot
Our starting filming rates cover a director of photography and an agreed camera package. The director of photography handles the camera work and visual approach to the shoot.
Your quote specifies the equipment and crew included. Extra crew, specialist lighting, sound recording, drone filming and other equipment are added where the brief requires them.
We capture the footage agreed during planning, which could include interviews, demonstrations, events, products and supporting footage of your business. Preparation and editing are charged separately.

- 03Editing and finishing
We review the footage, select the strongest material and shape it into your finished video.
Standard editing includes assembling the film, basic colour correction, sound balancing and the agreed final exports. Your quote confirms the number of videos, approximate lengths, delivery formats and included finishing work.
The editing rates are starting prices. Editing time and the final cost depend on the footage, complexity of the story, finishing required and number of versions. A day of filming does not automatically mean a day of editing.
Two rounds of revisions within the agreed brief are included in your editing quote. Additional versions, further revision rounds or changes to the approved brief are quoted before the extra work begins.

Common questions
Can I book filming without editing?
Yes. Filming includes a converted copy of the footage, supplied in a format agreed in your quote. Delivery arrangements are confirmed before booking. Original camera files and editable project files are agreed separately if required.
How long will the project take?
We agree the shoot date, first edit review and final delivery schedule before you book. The timing depends on the brief, editing requirements and when we receive your feedback and any materials needed to complete the work.
What counts as a revision round?
A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback on an edit. Two rounds within the agreed brief are included. New filming, a new creative direction, extra videos or additional rounds are quoted separately.
Can you work within a set budget?
Tell us your budget and priorities. We can recommend a suitable scope, such as focusing on one location or planning several videos around the same shoot. We will explain what is achievable before you commit.
How do I book?
Once you approve the quote, a 50% deposit secures the booking. Your quote and booking terms confirm the payment schedule and arrangements for cancellation or changing the date.
Tell us about your project
Share what you want to create, where the video will be used, the location, your preferred dates and an approximate budget. Reference videos are welcome.
We will recommend an approach and provide an itemised quote for the preparation, shoot and editing required.
